It was her first start since Feb. 4 of 2017 and the place horse in her latest won here the other day. Daughter of 'The Factor' is working above average at Saratoga and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #6 (Epping Forest) (3-1) - Strong finisher was beaten 3.5 lengths at this level and distance April 6 at Aqueduct. It was her seasonal debut off just under a 6 month layoff. She probably needed the start and this hard-hitter is 4-for-6 on the Belmont turf and is 3-for-5 at this distance. An obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Fear No Evil) (6-1) - No-speed type ships back from Laurel where she rallied to win a 5 furlong turf sprint May 6. She draws a ground saving post and trainer Tom Albertrani has Jose Ortiz aboard for the first time.
4th pick: #4 (Royal Inheritance) (12-1) - Speed ball has lost six in a row after winning four of her first five. This is her first ever on the grass and she's bred to handle the surface change. Longshot may factor if able to avoid an early pace battle with 'Okinawa'.
