2nd pick: #1 (Irish Sweepstakes) (12-1) - She was scratched out of a stakes on the dirt yesterday to await this spot. Daughter of "Any Given Saturday" is working fast for her first since April 11, and will be racing on the grass and going beyond 6.5-furlongs, both for the first time. "Live" price play.
3rd pick: #7 (Strike Accord) (7=2) - Veteran mare rallied into a quick pace to finish second racing at Aqueduct on April 23. It was her first since early Nov., and Broman home-bred is on her favorite course (7-2-1-3) this afternoon.
4th pick: #4 (Selenite) (3-1) - Very lightly raced grey filly is two for three on the grass with both wins coming against fellow New York breds. Strong finisher broke her maiden here last Sept. and won an entry-level allowance at Aqu. in her seasonal debut on April 12. Working well and must be left in the mix.
