2nd pick: #2 (Tapany) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, she rallied while wide after a ground saving trip to finish third here at this level and distance on the grass May 27. Trainer Ralph Nicks (26% second time out) has given her almost seven weeks to recover and has her working steadily. Very dangerous and a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Joannie) (5-1) - One of four fillies making their debuts, daughter of 'Smart Strike' cost $525,000 as a 2-year-old in training in March of 2015. Working above average for Hall of Fame member Bill Mott, she has the rail and can factor at a square price with an alert break.
4th pick: #8 (Nimble Foot) (15-1) - Irish bred is the field's most experienced filly. By a top European sire ("Danehill Dancer') she's working nicely and may grab a share at a big price with a late rally.
