Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #9 (NO TANX BLUE CHIP) (5-1) - He's moving up in class and stretching out a furlong in his second following a private sale and trainer change to Bruce Levine. Colt chased while wide before finishing 4th here going seven furlongs for a $25K tag June 15. He's been competitive at this mile trip in the past and draws a nice outside post.
2nd pick: #4 (Squeeze Thetrigger) (8-1) - Son of 'Lemon Drop Kid' has some changes today that make him a threat at a big price. He's racing second back from a two month break, moves from turf to dirt, drops in class, and has blinkers added. He didn't show much last out on the local grass, but his previous pair on the dirt were encouraging.
3rd pick: #1 (Massena) (3-1) - Colt is another dropping in class and stretching out in distance. He rallied while wide to finish 4th here against tougher going 6.5 furlongs June 4. He had some serious traffic issues out of the gate and is a win candidate in this spot.
4th pick: #2 (Kenyan) (7-2) - $100,000 gelding by 'Curlin' raced well while rallying in his debut here May 14. However, in his follow up start June 4 he was never involved after breaking poorly in a large field (13). He's dropping into a claimer for the first time, and trainer Mike Hushion has won with five of seven (71%) with that move.
