Top pick: #10 (VISION PERFECT) (3-1) - Colt has been sharp in all his starts (3-1-1-1), and last out finished second here in the G3 "Pilgrim" stakes. He has a flexible style, draws a nice post at this mile distance, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (A Lot) (4-1) - One of two entered by trainer Bill Mott, and the pair race uncoupled. He broke his maiden here on the grass going 6-furlongs Sept. 28th, and it was a big step forward over his dirt debut. Stretches out and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Gustnado) (5-1) - The second of the Mott pair, he also comes off a maiden win here, and speed/stalker will have no problem with this mile trip. $285K son of "Smart Strike" must be left in the small win mix.
4th pick: #5 (Zandar) (6-1) - Son of leading grass sire "Kitten's Joy" broke his maiden here going 7-furlongs Sept. 13th. Working well since, and he should like the added distance he travels in this spot.
