Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (ENDURING WARRIOR) (3-1) - Lightly-raced colt is cutting back a furlong following a second place finish at this level going seven furlongs Aug 17 at Saratoga. Working fast since, trainer Brad Cox (four-for-seven at the meet)has him set for a big effort. He gets the call, but make sure you reverse your exactas and triples with him.
2nd pick: #5 (Will Did It) (9-2) - Nicely bred colt was 1.5 lengths behind 'Enduring Warrior' Aug 17 at Saratoga. It was his first race in almost seven weeks and son of 'Medaglia d'Oro' was claimed that afternoon for $40,000 by owner/trainer Dave Jacobson. Strong finisher would love a fast/and or contested pace to develop, which would aid his chances.
3rd pick: #2 (Gun for Hire) (6-1) - One of three making their debuts, son of 'Blame' has some sharp works on view. He's been on the training track at Saratoga since early August and Mike Mareina has Jose Ortiz signed on.
4th pick: #1 (After Hours) (5-1) - On the sidelines since June 9, NEW gelding finished second that day going seven furlongs at Churchill Downs. His inside post and lack of speed is a concern, but that's balanced a bit by trainer Ron Moquett's fast start (5-2-2-0) at this meet.
