Top pick: #3 (CITY COOL) - Colt showed excellent speed from a tough outside post whe debuting at Saratoga Sep.2nd. He's worked twice since, is in a great 2nd out barn (Steve Asmussen 25%) and draws a much better post today. The top pick.
2nd pick: #8 (Quality Council) - He raced evenly in his debut at Monmouth and has a pair of fine local drills since that August 29th race. In a good barn (Mike Hushion) colt should improve at a nice price.
3rd pick: #4 (Uncle Carm) - One of two first time starters from the barn of J.P.Terranova and they'll race uncoupled. Their both working fast and each has good breeding. This colt has a big gate work here in late August and if he runs to it he could win this.
4th pick: #7 (Backdown) - The 2nd of the Terranova pair has a pair of back-to-back gate "bullets" heading into this. Very dangerous.
