Barn (Bruce Levine) is strong second time out (27%), and is even better on the drop (34%). The top pick at a nice price in a good betting race.
2nd pick: #2 (Idol Image) - Good debut saw him finish a pace-chasing third to a drop-down runner from the Pletcher barn that won again off a claim this past Saturday at Monmouth. Has good positional speed and draws the rail.
3rd pick: #3 (Calvello) - Takes the all-important drop into a maiden claimer for the first time. Good speed shown last out in first-time blinkers and he could impact here at a square price.
4th pick: #5 (Sea Air) - Colt "checked" early in his debut and was not a factor at Saratoga. Drops into a claimer for start number two and trainer Kiaran McLaughlin's main-rider (Alan Garcia) stays put. Barn is always sharp second time out (currently 25%).
