2nd pick: #2 (Hollywood Royal) (9-2) - Lasix is added to filly who finished a pace-setting third when debuting at this level going 5.5 furlongs at Saratoga Aug. 14. Trainer Mark Casse (19% second time out) stretches this $250,000 purchase out in distance while Irad Ortiz Jr stays aboard.
3rd pick: #4 (Jaunt) (7-2) - Claiborne home bred just missed ( a 1/2 length) here at this level and distance July 14. A career best, she skipped the Saratoga meet and is a strong win candidate in this spot.
4th pick: #1 (Boom Boom Boom) (4-1) - $310,000 daughter of 'More Than Ready' had some problems at the break when debuting at Saratoga in the same race as 'Hollywood Royal'. Filly recovered to finish a fine second and was a 1/2 length better than that rival. Dangerous in this spot.
5th pick: #5 (Aoife) (6-1) - Even paced filly is cutting back in distance after rallying to finish third at this level going a mile at Saratoga Aug. 19. She would need a complete pace collapse to get anything more than a small slice of this.
