Top pick: #2 (THE LADY SAYS YES) (4-1) - Strong finisher raced both wide wide and even at Saratoga in late July at this level and distance. Freshened up since, she likes this course (4-1-2-1) and Castellano, who has been aboard in all of her starts, stays aloft.

2nd pick: #8 (Lucky Nancy E) (7-2) - The main speed, filly has turned her career around since trainer Jim Ryerson switched her to the turf. Generazio home bred by "Disco Rico" draws a nice post to go right to the front and is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #4 (Caribean Beat) (5-2) - Another strong finisher, she's finished third in three straight tries at this level and mare is 6-2-0-1 on the Belmont turf. Very dangerous as she nears her best since returning from a six month layoff on June 1st.

4th pick: #5 (Chrysolite) (10-1) - Lightly-raced daughter of "Freud" has a bit more speed than most and comes off a sharp win, going 7-furlongs in a switch contest at the Spa on Aug. 13. She broke her maiden here on the turf May 16th and can factor at a square price.
