Top pick: #1 (GLICKMAN) (3-1) - His trainer (Dave Jacobson) had a tough luck meet at Saratoga but did begin to heat up a bit in the final two weeks. He normally does well at this meet and sends out this speedball in his first off a claim (a 25% winning angle from the new barn). Working well for his first since the claim (July 20th) and gelding breaks from the rail.
2nd pick: #4 (Indy Sea) (6-1) - Another racing first off a claim (Rudy Rodriguez 29%), he's been freshened up since July 13th and has done well here on the dirt in the past 2-1-1-0. Stalker is a threat with his best.
3rd pick: #9 (Sir Bond) (5-2) - Strong finisher skipped the Saratoga meet and takes a big drop in class for his first start since June 22nd. Working nicely for this and this former stakes performer finished second here in his only previous local appearance. Win candidate with his best.
4th pick: #5 (You You) (6-1) - Lightly-raced colt is the third member of the field racing off a claim (Jen Antonucci) and comes off a sharp win for a $16K tag at the "Spa" Aug. 1. A career best figure was earned that day and this colt should get a fast pace to rally into.
