Top pick: #6 (RODINIA) - She finished a pace-pressing 2nd here on Oct.2nd in a contest originally scheduled for the turf and hopefully that's where this daughter of "Bluegrass Cat" will get to run this afternoon. Home-bred is in a great grass barn (Chris Clement) and this filly is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Sparks Will Fly) - She showed immediste improvement when switched to the grass in her 2nd start and has come-back with a bullet drill since. Has the inside post, fine early speed, and is in a winning barn (Chris Englehart).
3rd pick: #1 (Manero) - Another who improved noticeably when switched to the turf last out as she closed to finish 3rd after racing wide early. Stretch threat.
4th pick: #7 (Clever Spirit) - Price play made up good ground last out in a switched contest and appears to be the type that can "run all day". Filly by "Smarty Jones" must be left in the mix.
