2nd pick: #10 (Doups Point) (5-1) - Well backed in all three starts, the colt has finished second in two straight, one each on turf and dirt. Freshened up since Sept. 9, he's working steadily and is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #2 (Scotty Brown) (9-2) - Speedy grey son of 'Big Brown' has been competitive in both starts each at this level and distance. Home bred breaks just off the rail and should be involved every step.
4th pick: #9 (Pier Forty) (8-1) - $250K purchase raced evenly here as the favorite going a mile Oct. 4. The gelding has a bit more speed than most and may factor today at a square price.
5th pick: #11 (Quick Charge) (15-1) - Speedy on the dirt, colt is switching to the grass while stretching out in distance. Bred for both changes, he may lead them a long ways at a very big price.
