Top pick: #1 (ALIANA) (7-5) - Daughter of "Majestic Warrior" finished second when debuting at Churchill Downs on Sept. 15 racing at this level and distance. Bet down to favoritism that day, she's worked three times since, draws the rail, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Masasi) (2-1) - Filly has finished third in four of her five starts and will be moving back to the dirt after an even effort here on the grass Oct. 4. The race was her first since March 22nd and she's since come-back with a near bullet half-mile breeze. Strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Fly Solo) (20-1) - Longshot is the field's most experienced maiden and has gone 4-0-1-1 on the dirt and has enough talent to grab a share at a big price.
4th pick: #4 (Katie's Garden) (7-2) - Debuting home-bred has been working nicely and daughter of "Elusive Quality" is in a good narn (John Shirreffs) and need not be much to factor against this group.
