Top pick: #3 (SYNTHESIZER) - She improved noticeably in her second start when she stalked from an outside post, made a strong bid to reach the front, and was out-finished late to check-in 2nd of 11 racing here at this trip on Sept. 16. Son of "Quiet American" has worked twice since and Dominguez stays aboard.
2nd pick: #10 (Johnny's Cafe) - Son of "Speightstown" stalked and offered no bid in an "off the turf" contest just eight days ago. Trainer Barclay Tagg brings him back quickly and has him entered on the grass. Win threat at a nice price.
3rd pick: #9 (Win For the Zipper) - He debuted in the same last race as Synthesizer and finished fourth despite racining bothe "greenly" and erratically. Great grass trainer (Jim Toner) has worked him twice since and he can certainly factor with normal second-out improvemebt.
4th pick: #6 (Image of Disco) - He improved when sent to the turf and finished second here at this distance on Sept. 22. He was bet that afternoon and should be competitive again in this spot.
5th pick: #1 (Sleepy Freud) - He set the pace before weakening to run third in the same race as the top pick here. Has the inside post, will be sent hard and take them as far as he can.
