Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (ALLY'S FURY) (5-2) - Well backed when debuting here Sept. 12th, grey daughter of 'City Zip' rallied while wide to finish 3rd of 10, beaten a length. Trainer Chad Brown (32 for 95, 33%, second time out) has worked her twice since, brings her back in a month, and has her traveling an additional furlong.
nd pick: #2 (Somerset Sandy) (4-1) - Bet down to 5-2 favoritism when debuting Aug. 3rd at Saratoga, she rallied from close range to check in 2nd of 10, beaten a length in the 5.5-furlong grass sprint. Filly by 'Scat Daddy' is an obvious win candidate.
rd pick: #6 (Lady Lucky) (3-1) - Well bet in both outings, she's rallied to finish 3rd in each despite having traffic issues at the break in that first pair. Trainer Dave Cannizzo is cutting her back a bit in distance for this attempt. Stretch threat.
th pick: #11 (Sharyn's Dream) (8-1) - One of two entered by trainer Jeremiah Englehart, and the pair race uncoupled. Filly chased while wide before tiring when debuting in a Saratoga grass sprint Sept. 7th. Barn is having a great year, and this filly has a shot at a big price.
th pick: #10 (Bareeqa) (10-1) - She was 'bumped' at the break when debuting here Sept. 12th in the same last race as 'Ally's Fury.' She raced evenly once in stride and was four lengths behind that rival at the finish. May grab a minor award at long odds.
