Top pick: #2 (TUCKER'S POINT) - Gelding comes off a near miss here at this level and distance on Sept. 26 when he was involved every step and was outfinished by a neck by a colt who was on his outside the final 3 furlongs. Effort came off an eight month layoff and trainer Mike Mariena brings him back quickly for this attempt.
2nd pick: #7 (Last Gunfighter) - Strong finisher has seen action since he missed by a neck at this level going two-turns at Oaklawn Park on March 30th. Has a new trainer (Chad Brown 32% with new arrivals) and is working sharply for his return.
3rd pick: #1 (Mordi's Miracle) - Un-raced since late Jan. at Gulfstream Park, he's had problems at the break in both appearances. Working well for trainer Todd Pletcher and Dominguez is aboard. Son of "Lawyer Ron" draws a tricky inside post and an alert start is imperative.
4th pick: #5 (Cape Glory) - Gelding had some trouble at the start last out and raced evenly while finishing 6 back of "Tucker". Moves off the rail today and that should make this home-bred a threat.
