Top pick: #2 (MORAVITZ) (12-1) - Longshot stretches back out after an even effort here at this tag going 6 furlongs on Sept. 25th. In his previous race he ran a career best when finishing fourth at this distance and a repeat of that could take this at a big price.
nd pick: #7 (Fiddler's Chico) (7-2) - He missed by a "neck" here at this level and distance on Sept. 19 in what was his best effort yet. One-run type draws outside of the speed and is a strong win candidate in this spot.
rd pick: #6 (Plausibly) (3-1) - He edged "Chico" by a nose for the place spot on Sept. 19 and this well-bred gelding by "Street Sense" is in career best form at present and must be left in the win mix.
th pick: #3 (Shortcoming) (5-1) - Gelding by "Medaglia d'Oro" ran a career topper when finishing third here at this trip facing tougher on Sept. 8th. Trainer Bill Badgett has given him a month to recover and has worked him twice.
th pick: #1 (Cielo Soleggiato) (6-1) - Speedy and lightly raced, he's set the pace until mid-stretch in his last pair before weakening. His inside draw will allow him to take this field a long ways on the front end.
