Top pick: #6 (RACHEL'S TEMPER) (6-1) - Price play goes turf to dirt after rallying to finish a close up fourth here going 7-furlongs on the grass May 17th. It was her first start in three months and it's nice to see trainer Dave Cannizzo bring her back quickly. She meets a weak field for the level and draws outside of the speed types.
2nd pick: #4 (Wild Street Girl) (5-2) - The morning line favorite, she's dropping into a claimer for the first time. Filly tired last out after chasing the pace in a mile grass race May 10th. Racing into shape and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Petite Warrior) (10-1) - Long shot hasn't raced since early April of 2014. Her work tab is filled with bullet moves and this home bred by 'Majestic Warrior' is dangerous if she runs to them off the almost 14 month layoff.
4th pick: #2 (Egyptian Magic) (4-1) - Speedy filly tired here after setting the pace going a mile on the turf May 16th racing at this tag. It was her first since March 1st and looks like a conditioning run. Trainer Linda Rice brings her back quickly, switches her from turf to dirt, and shortens her up in distance. In the mix.
