Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (BROKEN BORDER) (5-1) - Mare has been un-raced since breaking her maiden here at this distance a year ago. She won by 12.5 lengths that day and ran the distance in a swift 1:21.20. Trainer Jay Servis is 6-for-15 (40%) at this meet and he's won with 8-of-21 (38%) off of long layoffs over the past 17.5 months.
2nd pick: #7 (Lady Bergen) (3-1) - Another coming back from a layoff (six months) she broke here maiden Nov. 25 at Aqueduct going 8.5 furlongs on the grass. Very lightly-raced, she's training steadily and 3-year-old has plenty of room for upside.
3rd pick: #5 (Majestic Bloom) (8-1) - Lasix is added to mare who raced both wide and evenly at this level going six furlongs April 28. Beaten only four lengths, it was her first start in 10 months. Speedy 5-year-old should be involved every step.
4th pick: #8 (Laura's Patriot) (12-1) - 'Laura' exits the same April 28 contest as 'Majestic Bloom.' She rallied while widest to finish a length in front of that rival and should appreciate the additional furlong she travels today.
