Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (ROYAL EKATI) (4-1) - Debuting colt has some impressive works showing and trainer Barclay Tagg has Javier Castellano aboard. This 3-year-old cost $180K as a yearling back in 2014 and is owned and trained by the same connections of Kentucky Derby winner 'Funny Cide.' Can win this from the rail if he runs to his a.m. drills.
2nd pick: #10 (Ordinaire) (3-1) - Away since last August, he finished third at Saratoga in both starts back then, one each on turf and dirt. Training fast for his return and trainer Jimmy Jerkens has John Velazquez interested. Dangerous if ready.
3rd pick: #2 (Gorelli) (7-2) - He has an experience edge on most and has finished second at this level in three of his last four starts. Speed/stalker should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #4 (Brooklyn Major) (10-1) - He tired last out after being sent hard from his inside post on a sloppy surface in a 12-horse field. Colt had been much sharper in his previous pair and shoul factor today at a big price.
