Top pick: #5 (LAHINCH CLASSICS) (5-2) - Lightly-raced Irish import ran both wide and evenly going 8.5-furlongs when making her North American debut April 8th at Keeneland. Daughter of 'Galileo' was Group 2 placed in her native country and is racing second off almost an 8-month break. Four-year-old runs for the hottest barn at this meet (Chad Brown 16-8-2-3) and filly is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Queen's Parade) (7-2) - $200K daughter of 'Giant's Causeway' finished a close up third of 12 at Keeneland April 24th. It was her first since breaking her maiden Dec. 24 at Gulfstream and first facing winners. Strong finisher has local experience and she should love this 1 1/4 mile distance.
3rd pick: #7 (Precarious) (6-1) - Mare is the type that can run all day. On the sidelines since early August, she's the only one entered with a previous win on this sweeping course. She spent the winter working steadily at Palm Meadows and is a strong win candidate if ready.
4th pick: #1 (Perfect Flute) (3-1) - Lightly-raced Juddmonte home bred ships from Keeneland where she finished fifth of 12, beaten 3-lengths going 8-5-furlongs April 10th in her first facing winners. Bred to love this longer trip and she has plenty of room for upside.
