2nd pick: #3 (Mathematician) (8-1) - Speed/stalker finished a pace-setting 3rd at this level going nine furlongs at Aqueduct April 7. He has a recency edge on several, and it's noted that John Velazquez is aboard for the first time.
3rd pick: #5 (Azzedine) (3-1) - The second of the pair from Chad Brown, he rallied to finish 2nd, and was two lengths in front of 'Mathematician' April 7 at Aqueduct. French bred 4yo is an obvious contender.
4th pick: #7 (Into the Breach) (4-1) - On the sidelines for 11 months, he finished 2nd here in two straight at this level when last in action. One came at this distance (May 12), and this grey colt trained steadily this past winter at the Palm Meadows Center near Gulfstream Park. Can factor if ready.
