Top pick: #8 (CRACKERJACK JONES) (1-1) - The probable heavy favorite, he was bet down to 4-5 when debuting here on May 4th and checked in second of seven, beaten a length in a solid first appearance. Given almost eight weeks off, he's in a great second out barn (Mike Hushion 33%) and gelding by "Smarty Jones" draws a nice outside post for this 6.5 furlong distance.
2nd pick: #7 (Thanxtomyuncle) (6-1) - He's finished second in four straight at this level, including March 27th at Aqueduct at this 6.5 furlong trip. Home-bred is coming off of three straight "flat" mile races and is a late threat.
3rd pick: #4 (Greeley Pack) (4-1) - Four-year-old has finished second here in two straight when each of those races were switched to the main-track. Capable barn (Kate Feron), has him in career best shape, and speed/stalker should be involved from start-to-finish.
4th pick: #6 (Sunnysider) (8-1) - Gelding by "Stonesider" chased and held well to finish only a 1/2 lenght back of "Greeley" here on May 25th. Race was his first in almost a year and "Hall of Famer" H. Allen Jerkens has him working fast for this.
