Top pick: #5 (MALIBU HOLIDAY) (7-2) - Daughter of "Harlan's Holiday" has won more races (3) than any other entered and scored here going 7 furlongs on the grass May 24th. Consistent sort is at home on dirt and has a solid shot at upsetting the presumed heavy favorite "Profezita."
2nd pick: #3 (Profezita) (9-5) - Filly by "A.P. Indy" cost a whopping $7,750,000 and has been competitive in both appearances. Three-year-old just missed after a poor start when debuting at Gulfstream March 24th, then went gate-to-wire on May 3rd at Churchill Downs to get her maiden win. Obvious win candidate, but at a very short price.
3rd pick: #1 (Thisizsparta) (3-1) - She races first off a Dave Jacobson claim (26%) and he switches her from turf-to-dirt for this attempt. Stalker has won on this surface in the past and sould have a nice spot turning for home.
4th pick: #6 (Lady Kierkegaard) (5-1) - No-speed mare has rallied from far back to finish third here in two straight at this level and distance and is a stretch threat, but needs a fast and/or contested pace for any shot at the top prize.
