She finished second here at this level and distance on May 31st and that was a significant improvement off her return race. I like her chances.
2nd pick: #7 (She's Stone Sis) (5-2) - The probable favorite, she likes this "flat" mile trip (93-1-1-0) and last out just missed here at this level on May 12th. Speed/stalker has worked fast sine and will be in this from start-to-finish. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Tahoe Tigress) (4-1) - She has more wins (3) than any other entered and last out she rallied to win here going 6.5 furlongs facing $15K "open" company. Claimed that day by Jeremiah Englehart, he stretches her out in distance and she should be in this at the finish.
4th pick: #9 (Frosty But Funky) (20-1) - Longshot runs third back from a 2 1/2 month layoff and will be going turf to dirt, dropping down a bit, and racing with blinkers on. Expecting her to be sent hard and try to clear early. Could factor at a big price if that's the case.
