2nd pick: #8 (Sand and Song) - Logical contender and probable heavy favorite has finished second in her last pair at this price, including a fine effort two back at this "tricky" 7.5 furlong distance. One run type is very sharp at present. Tough, but at a short price.
3rd pick: #9 (Dreamin'oMaryland) - Vastly improved runner takes on fellow winners for the first time after breaking her maiden May 22. One run type draws a nice post for her style and her connections have spotted her reasonably today.
