Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (HONEY DON'T) (8-1) - Longshot is training well for his first since Nov. 25. Very sharp in all three starts on the grass, he has a stalking style and is from the barn of 'Hall of Famer' Bill Mott. He has a good shot at a square price if ready, but make sure you box your bets in this spot.
2nd pick: #1 (End of Spirits) (7-2) - One of two entered by trainer Brian Lynch, and the pair race uncoupled. Son of 'Ghostzapper' finished 2nd at this level April 21 at Keeneland in his first in five months, and first ever on the grass. Sent here soon after that return run, he raced very wide when missing by just over two lengths at this distance May 25. Colt draws a ground saving post and is an obvious contender.
3rd pick: #3 (King Orb) (3-1) - Gelded son of 'Orb' originally sold for $300,000 as a yearling back in Sept. of 2016. He ships from Gulfstream where he finished 2nd of eight, beaten just under a length while going a mile at this level on May 12. In the Pletcher barn, Luis Saez is aboard, and this 3yo must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Assay) (12-1) - Another longshot, this home bred by 'Bernardini' hasn't raced since late October. He showed good early speed in both starts last fall and is training steadily for his return. May grab a share at a big price if ready.
