Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (SHARPIN) (8-5) - A lightly raced 3yo, she ships from Kentucky where she was a sharp maiden winner at this distance April 26 at Keeneland. It was her second start back following a five month layoff and it earned her a career best figure and the highest of any in this field last out. Nicely spotted and think she can win right back.
2nd pick: #2 (Harkness) (2-1) - She's dropping in class while switching from grass to dirt in her second back following a three month layoff. Mare raced evenly sprinting on the turf facing tougher May 11 and is in a straight $40K claimer for the first time.
3rd pick: #3 (Carlisle Belle) (8-1) - No-speed type is dropping a bit while shortening up in distance for this attempt. A 5yo mare by 'Macho Uno', she'll need a fast/and or contested pace for anything more than a minor award.
4th pick: #5 (Malibu Mischief) (4-1) - Very fast from the gate, she's taking a big drop in her first start since Feb. 21. She worked a bullet 3 furlongs in :35.20 June 7, best of 54 at the distance that morning and is dangerous in this spot.
