Top pick: #7 (BURNISHED COPPER) - Ran well in his seasonal debut in a race he may have needed badly, having not raced in 6 months. Shortens-up considerably and Prado rides him again. Gelding has faced better fields than this in the past and can run these down late.
2nd pick: #9 (Fortyninegeorgest) - Richard Dutrow runner also shortens-up after a "troubled" trip going a mile on May 16th. Has much more ability than he's showed last out and may sneak away at square odds.
3rd pick: #8 (Senegal) - Top turf barn (James Bond) sends this runner to the turf in his 2nd start off a 7 week layoff. Has some positional speed and believe he'll improve on the surface switch.
4th pick: #6 (Up For Love) - Clearly better on the turf, son of "More Than Ready" will be trying this 6 furlong distance for the first time. Away since late December, he has some very nice drills at Saratoga for his return.
