Top pick: #8 (LA JAVA) (3-1) - Filly hasn't raced since she chased a fast pace and tired to finish fourth when debuting at this level last Aug. at Saratoga. Home-bred was heavily bet that day and is working very fast for her return. She was scratched earlier in the meet and this looks like a nice spot for this 3-year-old by "Medaglia d'Oro."
nd pick: #7 (Rosie's Song) (7-2) - Racing with blinkers on here at this level May 26th, she broke running, opened up a clear lead, and tired late to finish third. Nice effort and 4-year-old has since come back with a fast half-mile breeze a week ago.
rd pick: #2 (Light Weight) (6-1) - She was bet down to favoritism when debuting on Jan. 5 and also attracted the injured Ramon Dominguez first out. Filly broke well, rated just off the lead and came up empty when asked to run. On the sidelines since, she's working above average for her return.
th pick: #1 (Dearest Dixie) (8-1) - Debuting filly by the late "Dixie Union" has a bullet half-mile breeze from the gate on June 2nd and it was the best of 59 to work that distance that morning. Has the rail and runs for a solid trainer(Jay Servis)/jockey (Irad Ortiz) combo (28%).
th pick: #3 (Carla Sweetrevenge) (8-1) - She raced evenly in the same May 26th race as "Rosie" and finished a non-threatening fourth. Race was her first in just over six months and this filly has races last year that put her in this at a square price.
