Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (MICROSECOND) (5-2) - He missed by a 'head' when debuting at Aqueduct at this level going six furlongs March 15. Involved every step, he runs today off a private trainer change to Todd Pletcher, 11 of 41 (27%) with new arrivals since Jan. 1 of 2019. He ships from Palm Beach Downs where he's been training fast, and Pletcher stretches him out in distance (22%).
2nd pick: #6 (Jade's Dream) (15-1) - One of two entered by Michelle Nevin, and the pair race uncoupled. A NEW gelding, 3yo by 'Drosselmeyer' raced wide while never involved when debuting here Oct. 4 in an 'off the turf' contest. He has a fine series of works on view, has blinkers added, and he may factor at a very big price.
3rd pick: #7 (Pacific Jazz) (9-2) - The other from the Nevin barn, he's one of three that are making their debuts. He enters off a huge bullet half-mile mile gate breeze in 00:47.20 May 30, the best of 116 at the distance.
4th pick: #9 (Dancers for Token) (4-1) - The field's only 4yo, he's been competitive in three straight at this level and distance. The latest saw him check in a wide 3rd of seven, missing by 2.5 lengths Feb. 20 at Aqueduct. In the mix, but he may be over-bet a bit.
