One-run type is brought back five weeks later at the purchase price and this lightly raced state-bred is working fast and loves this distance (10-6-3-0). Lots of speed for him to rally into and he's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Thunder Chief) - Colt has been competitive in three of four starts at this level and has run second in two of his three starts at this distance. He was less than a length back of Saginaw last out and is a win candidate if he repeats the effort.
3rd pick: #1 (Royal Majesty) - Has the rail and has spent most of his career out of town facing "open" company. He's won four of his last five starts, is 3-for-5 at this distance, and has good early speed. This is his first on this often "tricky" surface, but is a threat if he handles it.
