Top pick: #8 (TEN TWENTY) (3-1) - Colt was well backed when debuting here at this level going 8.5-furlongs June 20. He had a very wide trip that day when checking in 4th of nine, beaten almost 4-lengths. Good barn (Joe Sharp) stretches him out, and $130K purchase moves off the rail.
2nd pick: #7 (Jackson N Leonard) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he's racing third back off a 6-month layoff and has been competitive in both starts on the grass at this level. Trainer Dom Schettino adds blinkers, and this gelding by 'Colonel John' is an obvious threat.
3rd pick: #9 (Giant Patontheback) (20-1) - Longshot has Lasix added after a pair of even efforts while wide at this level on the grass. He draws outside again, so he'll need a careful ride.
4th pick: #5 (Greg's Fourwheeler) (8-1) - He's had a good position to strike from in his last pair, but has finished evenly in each. 4yo should like this longer trip, but needs to do better during the stretch run.
