Top pick: #2 (MISCHIEVIOUSLY) (4-1) - Phipp's home bred takes the big drop into maiden claimers for the first time. He showed little on the Pimlico turf last out and has worked twice since. His best figures have been earned locally and he can beat these if he stays in this off the turf contest.
2nd pick: #15 (Charitable) (6-1) - He takes the same drop as "Malibu Moon" and will be going turf to dirt if he stays in. Colt has yet to race on the dirt but continues to train well locally on it.
3rd pick: #10 (Secret Ops) (8-1) - Speedy sort is another who has yet to race on the dirt but has the best early gear of those that have raced. He's racing second back from a 3 1/12 month effort and hails from a hot barn (Gary Contessa).
4th pick: #7 (Perfect American) (12-1) - He also has some speed and is one of the few entered who has previous dirt form. Coly by "Smarty Jones" is capable of impacting at a big price.
