2nd pick: #2 (Asset Inflation) (2-1) - He was a long 'neck' in front of 'Dowse' last out and that ran his local record to 5-3-1-0. Speedy sort was racing off a 5 1/2 month vacation and he's won here at this 7-furlong trip on the grass in the past. A strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Saltine Warrior) (10-1) - Long shot raced evenly and was only 2-lengths off of 'Dowse' and 'Asset' last out. Stalker likes the local turf 9-2-2-3 and draws outside of the speed. Racing back into shape following a five month layoff and a threat at a square price with his best.
4th pick: #6 (Hear the Footsteps) (5-1) - Veteran was a stake performer earlier in his career, but has slipped since then. 8-year-old 'nibbled' a few times last year and may grab a minor award with his best if ready off a seven month layoff.
