She tired late that day when checking in fourth at Saratoga in the G1 Test Stakes. Daughter of 'Bernardini' had finished second here in her previous start in the Mother Goose Stakes (G1) at this distance July 2. Training steadily for this appearances, filly will be tough to beat with her 'A' game.
2nd pick: #4 (Innovative Idea) (9-2) - Speed/stalker ships in from the midwest where she finished third in a G3 stakes at this trip Sept. 17 at Churchill Downs. Four-year-old had won a pair of stakes at Ellis Park and Prairie Meadows prior to that and it's noted that John Velazquez is aboard for her NYRA debut.
3rd pick: #6 (Eskenformoney) (4-1) - Veteran from the Pletcher barn has been freshened up since a poor effort in a $100K stakes Aug. 22 at Saratoga. She had placed in a pair of stakes before that at Monmouth and has won at Belmont in the past.
4th pick: #5 (Rachel's Temper) (5-1) - Mare has more wins here (four) than the rest of the field combined (three). Her lack of speed is a concern, and unless the pace is fast and/or contested, a minor award is her ceiling.
