Top pick: #2 (UNTAPABLE) (3-5) - Home-bred by "Tapit" has won all three starts this year, and last out was a convincing winner of the prestigious "Kentucky Oaks" (G1) at Churchill Downs on May 2. The "figure" earned towers over this field, and trainer Steve Asmussen has given her some time to rest up a bit. With Rosie Napvranik on the sidelines with an injury, John Velazquez takes over. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Princess Violet) (15-1) - Longshot moves way up in class and stretches out in distance after an impressive allowance win here going six-furlongs on May 16. Schwartz home-bred has plenty of speed, and expecting her to be sent to the front and take them as far as she can.
3rd pick: #6 (Stopchargingmaria) (8-1) - Daughter of "Tale of the Cat" rallied to win Pimlico's G2 "Black Eyed Susan" on May 16. It was her best since a solid 2yo season, and she must be considered a possible threat.
4th pick: #5 (Aqua Regia) (20-1) - Improving filly won here at this trip facing weaker on June 5 and ran a career best "figure' that afternoon. She tries hard every time out, and her stalking style may land her a share.
