Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (HOT CITY GIRL) (8-5) - The morning line favorite, major stakes winner is working fast for her first start since Feb. 13th. She tired that day going seven furlongs at Laurel in a G2 contest. Competitive in four straight prior to that, speedy filly can beat these if ready.
2nd pick: #6 (Haveyougoneaway) (4-1) - Mare has carved out a very good career racing in the Midwest against 'open' company. A stakes winner in dirt sprints, she finished 2nd here in a $200,000 race going a mile May 30. It was her first in New York and obviously her first facing fellow state breds. Stalker is dangerous if 'Hot City Girl' is sub par in her first of a 4.5-month layoff.
3rd pick: #5 (Quezon) (7-2) - Lightly raced, she ran evenly in the same mile contest May 30 that saw 'Haveyougoneaway' finish 2nd. 4yo was four lengths back of that rival in her first start in just over two months. That was her first loss at Belmont following three wins, two of those came in stakes.
4th pick: #2 (Court Dancer) (6-1) - Away from action since late March, veteran tired badly that afternoon in a stakes at Laurel. She had been razor sharp in her previous four starts and is a threat with her best.
