2nd pick: #4 (True Pleasure) (5-2) - Filly missed by a 1/2 length going 5.5 furlongs on the Saratoga turf Sept. 4. It was her first ace in 11 months and her first ever on the grass. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Well Blessed) (7-2) - Freshened up since June 18, filly has gone 3-0-2-1 on the grass, al going farther. She sports the silks of the Bert Firestone, he of 'Genuine Risk' and 'Foolish Pleasure' fame. Home bred is working above average and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #6 (J R Star) (8-1) - Longshot was 2.5 lengths behind 'True Pleasue' Sept. 4 at Saratoga. It was her turf debut, a positive one, and it was her first race since late December.
