However, he still does his best with debuting runners (32%) and he has this well-bred filly working fast locally. Daughter of "Elusive Quality" meets a weak field first out and can make her initial public appearance a winning one.
2nd pick: #3 (My Cousin Zinny) (5-1) - Speedy filly comes off a third-place finish at Saratoga on Sept. 2 and a repeat of it should have her in this from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #5 (Resolute Babe) (4-1) - Filly by "Big Brown" runs off a 6 1/2 month layoff and does so with blinkers on. Away slowly in her Gulfstream debut, she drops into a claimer and should impact if she has any talent.
4th pick: #1 (Malibu Mudslide) (5-2) - Speed/stalker has the rail annd will be going turf to dirt after a fourth place finish on Aug. 7 on the Saratoga lawn. Can factor, but she has a bit of "hang" in her at "crunch" time.
