Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (FRONTIER MARKET) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, he's finished 2nd in five of six starts all at this level going a mile or longer. Beaten by a 'neck' in three of his last four, this 5yo will be tough, but make sure you reverse your bets with him for a few dollars.
2nd pick: #12 (Chantry Flats) (10-1) - Longshot tired late after setting the pace in the Aug. 2 Saratoga contest as 'Frontier Market.' By far a career best, it was his first start in 8.5 months and his first ever on the grass. $180K son of 'The Factor' is a serious looking contender.
3rd pick: #3 (Carom) (9-2) - 3yo has been freshened up since July 8 when he raced wide when beaten almost three lengths here at this level and distance. Colt has a fine series of works showing, has room for upside, and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #10 (Hierarchy) (3-1) - Phipps home bred raced evenly when finishing 3rd, just a bit over a length in back of 'Frontier Market' Aug. 2 at Saratoga. This colt worked here on the 15th and 22nd and is a stretch threat.
5th pick: #5 (Heza Kitten) (15-1) - Longshot runs first off a rare Phil Serpe claim, and this no speed type is capable of getting a minor award at a big price.
