She's worked twice since, has Castellano back on the re-ride, and she can win this with just a bit more improvement.
2nd pick: #12 (Big Expense) (7-2) - Grey filly has early speed and has finished third in both starts. The latest saw her only a 1/2 length behind 'Purely Lucky' Aug. 25 at Saratoga in her first ever on the grass. An obvious threat.
3rd pick: #2 (Carrera Cat) (5-1) - Filly made a strong move in mid-stretch when debuting at this level in a grass sprint Aug. 2 at Saratoga. However, she was pushed in at the 1/8th pole and lost some momentum before finishing fourth of 10, beaten 2.5 lengths. She worked here on Sept. 17 and is stretching out in distance.
4th pick: #3 (Single Mission) (8-1) - Away a bit late when debuting at this level Aug. 10 at Saratoga, she raced both wide and evenly once in stride. Home bred worked a half-mile bullet at Fair Hill Sept. 15 and can factor with a better beginning.
5th pick: #9 (Northernstreetgal) (15-1) - Blinkers go on filly who has finished fourth in her last pair at this level going 8.5 furlongs on the turf. Only three lengths back of 'Purely Lucky' last out and she'll be a very big price.
