2nd pick: #4 (Sheriffa) (3-1) - Very fast and she's also consistent 16-5-3-5. New York bred went wire-to-wire here at this distance in late May while winning a $200K stakes. On the sidelines since, speedy 4-year-old is an obvious threat.
3rd pick: #2 (Guyana) (6-1) - Mare has finished first or second in 18 of 29 starts on the dirt. She's won nine times overall and ships back from Penn National where she's won four in a row. Five-year-old has won here before and is a big threat in her present form.
4th pick: #7 (Amulay) (15-1) - Long shot has raced very poorly in her last two starts after a strong run of six straight top efforts. Working fast for her first since July 27, she can factor at a big price with her best.
