Top pick: #1 (KING GETTIGAN) (3-1) - Veteran maiden has lost by a "neck" in two of his last three starts at this level and has gone 3-0-2-1 here this year. One-run type has the rail and he should get a fast and/or contested pace to rally into. The top pick, but make sure you reverse your exactas.
2nd pick: #4 (No Nukes) (5-1) - Another veteran maiden, he's been freshened up since Aug. 1 and will be cutting back in distance for this attempt. Stalker has finished second here in both 2014 starts and he must be left in the mix.
3rd pick: #8 (Blue Collar Cat) (10-1) - Colt hasn't seen action for almost a year but he's working steadily and trainer Mike Dilger has him racing in a claimer for the first time. It's of note that his main rider (John Velazquez) is aloft. The pair has won with 8 of 25 (32%) over the past 21 months when teamed up.
4th pick: #2 (Domer) (4-1) - Debuting gelding was initially prepared off site and has been working fast since coming to Belmont. Three-year-old by "Posse" is in a top barn (Chris Clement 18% first out) and looks set for his initial public appearance.
