Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (CELEBRITY GLITTER) (5-2) - This race is loaded with well bred and expensive juveniles. This debuting filly by 'Tapit' sold for $500,000 as a yearling last September. One of two entered by trainer Rudy Rodriguez, she worked a bullet half-mile here July 30, and spent the meet at Saratoga right here at Belmont being prepared for her first outing. The presence of Javier Castellano is noted.
2nd pick: #4 (Princess Char) (7-2) - Blinkers go on this filly who tired after chasing a fast pace when debuting at this level Aug. 9 at Saratoga. Daughter of 'Speightstown' has worked fast twice since and should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #3 (Danyelli) (4-1) - The second of the Rodriguez trained fillies, she's a $200,000 daughter of 'Mineshaft.' In steady training here since late July, she worked a bullet half-mile from the gate Sept. 6, and has Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard.
4th pick: #7 (No Deal) (7-2) - A nice debut Aug. 27 at Saratoga saw her press the pace and hold to finish a close up 3rd despite having some traffic issues at the break and a wide trip. Must be left in the mix.
