Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #8 (REALITY QUEEN) (3-1) - Freshened up since Sept. 10, filly finished fourth that afternoon facing colts at Kentucky Downs going a mile. Trainer Mike Maker drops her into a claimer for the first time and has Jose Ortiz aboard. Daughter of 'Pioneer of the Nile' gets a slight edge.
nd pick: #11 (Bird Key) (8-1) - One of two entered by trainer Gary Contessa and the pair race uncoupled. Filly tired last out facing tougher in her first back from 2.5 month break. Barn drops her into a claimer and has Javier Castellano aboard.
rd pick: #7 (Old Florida) (5-1) - Good out of town barn (Tom Proctor) ships this home bred up from Delaware Park where she raced evenly following a slow start when debuting Sept. 23. Bet down to 2-1 that afternoon, Proctor (20% second time out) drops her into a claimer (a strong 39% winning angle).
th pick: #4 (Matty's Magnum) (9-2) - Grey filly rallied to miss by just under a length when racing here at this tag and trip Oct. 5. It was her first in a claimer and home bred is an obvious contender if that effort is repeatable.
th pick: #6 (Take Charge Sue) (20-1) - Longshot has some changes after tiring in a dirt sprint Sept. 17 at Philly Park. Barn adds lasix, drops her into a claimer, moves her to the turf, and is stretching her out in distance. May grab a share at a a very big price.
