Top pick: #1 (CRUSHIN ROCK) - Colt is part of a Bruce Levine trained entry and with Jockey Joel Rosario listed on both halves, only one can run. Home-bred by "Real Quiet" showed good early speed before tiring facing "open" special weights going a mile here July 6th and has been on the sidelines since. Training fine and Levine will drop him into a claimer, move him back in with fellow New York-breds, and shorten him up in distance.
2nd pick: #4 (Reggie D) - Much improved in his last pair, home-bred finished 2nd here at this level going 7 furlongs on Sep 22nd and has since come back with a solid half-mile drill on the 12th. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Why Argue) - He's (4-0-2-1) since dropping down to this price-tag and is working well for his first start since late July. Speed/stalker fits and has alraedy proven that he can handle this surface.
4th pick: #1a (It'sahardrocklife) - The 2nd half of the Levine entry, he showed nothing when debuting here facing state-bred special weights on Oct 6th. Barn brings him back quickly and drops him in class. Can factor if he's the half that runs.
