Top pick: #10 (KIBBLE) (5-1) - She tracked the pace and tired in the final furlong racing here against tougher going 7-furlongs on Sept. 26. A high-percentage barn (Jimmy Jerkens) brings her back quickly, stretches her out a bit, and it's Dylan Davis off and Irad Ortiz on. The horse to beat.
nd pick: #7 (Hail Cornell) (3-1) - Filly drops in class and has a bullet half-mile breeze on the Saratoga training track Sept. 22. She showed fine early speed in her latest and is a win candidate.
rd pick: #11 (Birkenhead) (4-1) - Daughter of "Mizzen Mast" moves from the rail to the outside and that's a big plus for her chances. Filly raced a bit greenly last out and is dropping in class and trainer Dave Donk has John Velazquez aboard for the first.
th pick: #1 (Arctic Ocean) (8-1) - Grey filly has caught muddy tracks in both starts and will be moving to the turf and stretching out in distance. She has the rail and has been working fast for this attempt.
th pick: #8 (Atrous) (15-1) - Longshot showed nothing when debuting in an "off the turf" sprint at Saratoga on a sloppy surface Aug. 21. She's bred for the grass, drops in class, and has both lasix and blinkers added.
