Nice effort and trainer Linda Rice drops him slightly for this attempt. Win candidate is coupled in the wagering with #1a "Pleasant Outlook" and the entry has separate riders listed.
3rd pick: #3 (Tarif) (6-1) - The second of the Mott maidens, colt has had to endure bumping incidents in both starts and has raced evenly once in stride. Home bred by "Pulpit" drops in class and can factor with a trouble-free getaway.
4th pick: #6 (Southeast Asia) (15-1) - California invader has raced evenly in all three starts on the Del Mar "poly." New trainer Tony Quartarolo has already won two at this meet with runners sent here by Barry Abrahams. May factor at a big price.
